We will be writing a comprehensive article about the Top 5 South African Pastors. In the Christiandom there has been lots of denominations which has made it look like the religion is divided. In all these denominations we have bishops, pastors, reverend, etc. Our focus today will be about pastors, not just the whole pastors but South African pastors precisely.
Though in the past few years, there have been lots of controversies surrounding pastors in that country, we will be looking at the top pastors in the country.
Top 5 South African Pastors
1. Alph Lukau
Coming first on my list is Pastor Lukau who is the founder and overseer of Alleluia Ministries International. He didn’t just come up to this height overnight, he used to minister under late Pastor Jacques Vernaud who later died on 28th September 2011. Reports have shown that he has impacted in the life of many around the world, and have converted many to Christians.
There is a lot of information on his biography on the internet but his information is yet to appear on Wikipedia. You might ask Where is Alph Lukau now? well, he’s based in his country South Africa. He is also known for being in possession of many expensive rides, some of which are; Lamborghini, a Bentley, a range rover, a Rolls Royce, and a Ferrari. He’s one of the richest pastors in Africa with a number of private jets to prove that.
Taking the second position in the list is Bushiri who was born on 20 February 1983. The Christian preacher, businessman, and motivational speaker is the founder and leader of the Enlightened Christian Gathering. It is non-denominational and has its headquarters in Pretoria, South Africa. Shepherd Bushiri is based in Malawi but has traveled to many countries propagating the gospel. He has tens of thousands of members. Apart from being a popular pastor, he’s also very rich with a lot of private jets and properties.
3. Pastor Ray McCauley
We can’t forget the renowned Pastor Ray who was born on 1 October 1949. He’s not as young as the initial pastors we have listed but he’s still active in propagating the gospel. You might not know about this but he’s the Senior Pastor of Rhema Bible Church, and President of the International Federation of Christian Churches (IFCC).
4. Pastor Tshifhiwa Irene
Let’s change the gender a bit, a woman has made the list. The late Tshifhiwa Irene was a leader of World Restoration Service Church but passed on in October 2018. She was famous in her country and helped restore many who were disturbed by demons.
His nationality is Zimbabwe, but he’s also a British citizen. His influence in South Africa is one that can’t be ignored in our list of Top 5 South African Pastors. Born on 6 September 1978, he’s the founder of the Good News Church and is also a very wealthy pastor who owns TV stations.
